The mission of Team25 is to improve the quality of life and create an environment of caring and community support for children facing extraordinary difficulties in their lives. Held in memory of the recently passed Brian Christensen, the event was a very much a celebration of life, and big name stars from across the world of music and sports flew in to show support. Bosch Communications Systems’ Mike Doucot and Ryan May worked with Tom Pickard, event engineer and FOH for headliners GB Leighton, to spec a suitably stellar PA for the show, with equipment including Electro-Voice microphones and a Dynacord Cobra main PA.
Celebrities in attendance included Brad Paisley, who sat in with headliners GB Leighton and also sang a couple of songs. The lineup also featured Angie Stevens, Sally Taylor (daughter of singer-songwriter legend James Taylor), and Opie Gone Bad. A stage invasion by a slew of dancing NHL stars—dressed up as the Village People, mind you—had the audience in stitches.
