InfoComm 2010 Day Two: The Music Lives On!

Day Two is in the can and everyone is talking about our fantastic demo room! We started out with a well-attended breakfast session on transducer and FIR Drive development entitled The Science of Sound. The rest of the demos were broken out by application, with different demos for Portable, Installed and Concert. The Concert sound demo was particularly impressive because it gave EV Product Manager Guillermo Wabi a chance to really show off what the EV concert experience is all about. After the show floor wrapped, we hosted a dinner for select consultants to give them a really in-depth look at EV Innovation and all of our other hot offerings at the show this year. EV wrapped up Day One with a jammin’ happy hour with our endorser, Travis Larson Band, as the featured act. They really rocked the house and did a great job putting our massive audio system through its paces. Good music, good people, good times!

InfoComm Day One: Here we go!

Day one of InfoComm 2010 is a great success! We had three audio demos and unveiled our brand-new additions to the EV Innovation family. These speakers have a unique combination of audio quality, aesthetic detail, contractor-friendly features, energy efficiency and exceptional value. Since contracting is the name of the game at this show, these speakers are already generating a lot of interest. The booth is packed with attendees as well, and the complimentary shuttle service in between is proving to be very popular. Coming up tonight is our Happy Hour. If you are at the show then we hope to see you there!

InfoComm Reception 2010

The InfoComm reception was last night and it was fantastic! We had a huge turnout and everyone had a great time. We started out with a jazz orchestra and drinks & hors d’oeuvres, followed by a kickin’ classic rock band. Not only did the room look great thanks to projectors from Christie and superior lighting effects by Vari-Lite, but the two bands let allowed us flex our massive speaker arrays across the spectrum at their full potential. From light instrumental jazz to reggae to full-throttle concert rock, the masterfully tuned EV speakers reproduced every note with pristine clarity. This was definitely the hot party in Vegas last night!

EV Latino en InfoComm

Vamos a tener un evento exclusivo para Latinoamérica durante el próximo InfoComm en Las Vegas el miércoles 9 de junio de 4pm a 5pm.

Este evento Incluirá demos y presentaciones en Español de nuevos productos con Música Latina donde no solo se podrán escuchar, aprender y conocer nuevas posibilidades de negocios, sino que disfrutaran de un agradable momento y compartiremos entre gente de diferentes regiones y mercados con bebidas sin alcohol o alcohólicas para quienes las prefieran y algunos canapés y Hors d’oeuvre.

Este evento será realizado en el salón de mas de 3500mts2 que es el mas importante de la feria y en el mismo en donde se harán las fiestas de inauguración, pero esta vez de manera privada para cualquier persona Latinoamericana que desee asistir y conocer en donde va la tecnología.

El salón es el Barron Ballroom en el Hotel Hilton (solo a unos pasos de los pabellones de exhibiciones del Hilton sin tener que salir al exterior).

EV Endorser Lets Get It stops through Minneapolis

Before taking the stage at The Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis, MN, Electro-Voice endorsers Lets Get It took some time out to give us an interview. Key Accounts Manager Ryan May secured some face time with the up and coming young artists and got the lowdown on the ups and downs of the road. Coolio and DJ Kool stop by to say hello

In between the lights and noise of Mobile Beat 2010, when we weren’t busy talking to customers to find out how they used their EV equipment, we had a few special visitors to the booth. For the NLFX VIP event Coolio and DJ Kool came by the demo room for some photos and we were there to snap a few shots and talk to DJ Kool about his experience with Electro-Voice speakers.

From the NLFX Demo Room we are finishing up setup of the Electro-Voice equipment. Regional Account Manager Michael Doucot has been hard at work this morning running our entire demo system through the Netmax N800 to interface with our touchscreen system selector, and he’s done it all without his luggage (which is currently in Lynchburg, TN…thanks Delta).

Our equipment looks at home in the demo room for the DJ market, flanked by lasers, lights, fog machines and DJ equipment. We’ll post up videos and more photos once the show gets started. For now I’ll leave you with some photos from setup.
